Quality, not quantity this week, as we got caught up in concluding the Kitschies & prepping for SFX2. In case you missed it, here's what happened on Pornokitsch:
- The Red Tentacle went to Lauren Beukes and Zoo City. Angry Robot quickly picked up on the good news as did BOOK Southern Africa.
- The Black Tentacle was awarded to Donald Westlake's Memory. Charles Ardai, from Hard Case Crime, was kind enough to accept on the behalf of the late Mr. Westlake.
- A review of Robert Chambers' 1915 non-classic, Police!!! and another selection of great, recent-ish genre covers.
- Some memories of the (extremely recent) SFX Weekender.
Next week, no more Kitschies, but we're back to our regular schedule of reviews, a new Draft competition, Monsters & Mullets and general mayhem (including some bits that came out of SFX2 panels). Plus, you can always find us on Facebook for further fun.
